Measures To Prevent Infection
At Little Kids Dentistry, we follow all the emerging scientific data around Covid-19. We closely monitor daily news and adhere to the guidelines of WHO, CDC and CDA (California Dental Association).
Before appointments are confirmed, each patient is asked whether or not they have experienced any Covid symptoms for the past 2-3 days, have traveled or have been in contact with any symptomatic individuals. Upon arrival to their appointment, the temperature is taken as standard of care, of our patients and their parents or guardians.
In our clinic we use N95 masks, facial shields, disposable gowns and other personal protective equipment (PPE) that is also available to our visitors upon request.
All instruments are sterilized as standard of care, all equipment is wiped with Cavi-wipes and dental chair unit protective covers are replaced after each patient.
Hand sanitizing dispensers are located throughout our clinic in each individual treatment room, X-Ray room and sterilization area, as well as the reception area for staff and patient use.
Our courtesy transportation vans are also equipped with masks and hand sanitizers and are thoroughly disinfected and wiped after each passenger or family.
