I am writing to warn other parents about a deeply traumatizing and unauthorized procedure my son experienced at Little Kids Dentistry at 1656 Wilshire Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90017 on 2-11-26
I brought my son in with explicit instructions to remove 5 crowns and nothing more. I did not sign a consent form for teeth extractions, nor did the dentist ever discussed extracting teeth with me. Despite this the dentist removed the 5 crowns and proceeded to extract 5 healthy teeth with roots without my knowledge or consent. Furthermore my son was not given anesthesia for these 5 teeth extractions. My son endured an incredibly painful procedure. He screamed and begged for help as she was pulling his teeth, but the dentist never stopped to provide relief. Instead she told my son "no screaming, no help" Denti-cal has since confirmed to me that this office billed them for D9230 nitrous oxide or happy gas, but the nitrous oxide was never given to my son to manage his pain during the teeth extractions. I was in the treatment room during the entire procedure.
Extracting teeth without anesthesia is medical battery and gross negligence. I am sharing this so other families can protect their children. We will never return

We had a great experience at Little Kids Dentistry LA! The dentist was very attentive, patient, and made our son feel comfortable during the visit. The examination was done carefully, and the staff created a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for children. At the end of the appointment, our son was so happy to receive a toy, which made the whole experience even more special for him. Thank you for making a dental visit positive and stress-free — we would definitely come back!

This place is so kid friendly but also attentive to the dental health of the child. My daughter loves coming here and enjoys the friendly staff as well as the other children being seen. LKDLA has awesome transportation to and from the facility which makes it easy for us to come to appointments. The doctor is friendly and informative. Highly recommend.

Staff made my 6 year old feel safe and helped her navigate through her fears. From the moment we walked in Janet greeted us with a friendly smile. My 6 year old daughter says Dr. Amir and his assistant were gentle with her and even though she felt scared at some moments, she still trusted them.
Thank you! You helped my daughter feel comfortable in a dentist office once again.

Always a good experience when we come here, everyone is always very nice and caring to my children, and comforting. They are All so sweet!!! Dr.Elena is Amazing !! So very thorough & yet gentle. Love this place, completely recommend. I have tried other kids dentists and i have always left disappointed. This has been the only dentist where i feel comfortable. They do Not rush you to make appointments and they are extremely flexible!

This is my second time bringing my son. I brought him in for a deep cleaning and to check on cavities. I love the play place they have for the kids. The staff at the front is really nice, it’s very clean and well kept. Fatima was really helpful and had a kind demeanor with everyone. My son ended up really taking a liking to Eli’s hospitality manners! Eli explained what he was doing as he went along the process for setting up the tools for the cleaning. The doctor seems nice, and explains steps as he goes long. He could definitely smile more lol. I’d definitely keep bringing my son back, and recommend the place too. They speak English and Spanish!

I’ve been going there since I was in elementary school!! My mom now takes my younger brothers there and from what I can say they’re all amazing!! All the employees there are so sweet and kind towards the kids! They talk to the kids and make conversation with them to help them with the anxiety they might be feeling. They allow parents to be in the rooms with the children and at the end they give all the kids little gift bags with toys.

I can't recommend Little Dentistry highly enough. The team have been exceptional in every aspect. From the moment we walked into the office, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. We had a pediatric dental emergency, and the entire team was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, they were kind, compassionate, and incredibly professional. They got us in quickly, took great care of my child, and made a very stressful situation much easier for our family.
The dentist dr.Kamp and Elvia assistant and all staff were patient, gentle, and explained everything clearly. Everyone went above and beyond to make my child feel comfortable and safe. The level of care and compassion we received was exceptional.
Because of this experience, I am transferring all four of my children to this office. It’s not easy to find a team you can truly trust with your kids, and this office has earned our confidence completely.

Finding a dentist who truly understands sensory sensitivities can be incredibly difficult, little kids dentistry in southgate] exceeded all expectations. They completely accommodated my sons autism by accommodations, e.g., dimming the bright exam lights / offering noise-canceling headphones / utilizing a weighted blanket]. The environment was calm, quiet, and designed to minimize sensory overload. It is such a relief to find a clinic that proactively creates a safe space like this."

We’ve been coming to Little Kids Dentistry in Southgate for many years and always have a great experience. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and they are extremely patient with kids, especially the little ones. Anyone with toddlers knows that’s not easy, but they handle it so well.
Dr. Shu Shan is wonderful. She’s very gentle, takes her time, and makes the kids feel comfortable instead of scared. My kids actually don’t mind coming to the dentist, which says a lot.
The office is always clean and organized, and the service is consistently good. After bringing my kids here for so long, I definitely recommend this place to other parents looking for a dentist who truly knows how to work with children.

Little kid dentistry is a great place to bring your kids. They are patient with toddlers , the environment is healthy and peaceful. The building is filled with colorful , fun paintings and Maryelin and DR. Amir are both amazing at their profession.

I can’t say enough good things about little kids dentistry! They took such amazing care of all three of my kids — and that’s no easy task! I’ve been bringing my first born here since he was 2 he’s now 7 and now I bring both of my boys 7 & 2 and the front staff and da’s staff is kid friendly I love it they make you feel so welcome and they’re amazing to my kids. I made an appointment for my son because we moved from Las Vegas to LA recently and he needed his 6 month check up. The girl that schedules the appointments was super nice and gave me an appointment right away. The day of the appointment we got there a little early and was seen right away. Everyone including the Dr where nice and professional and the most important my son felt comfortable being there. I loved how they kept it 100 real with us and not tried to do everything in 1 day like other dentists. So thank you Little Kids dentistry for making my our experience a good one.

I've only been here once, my daughter is getting work done. But the staff is genuinely nice and thoughtful. They interact with kids and playful at times. They give toys and have play area to tire them out a bit prior to any work. Very pleasant staff and on top of my concerns. Will give a follow up once work is done.

Everyone here is very helpful and friendly. I made an appointment for the same hour with no problems. I brought my 6year old with autism here and she loves everything about this place. They were quick and gentle with her. She came in for X-rays, cleaning, and fillings. After she was done, she was given two new toys to play with in their spacious play area.

This dentist is absolutely the best I wish as an adult I could go to him. The way the dentist and staff speak and work with the kids makes me leaving so happy and grateful that we found them. I only wish I found him earlier with my three older kids. We love them!!! Also the waiting room can’t be beat we want to hang out here all day but never get to because there is never wait.

First thing that got my attention was the play area. I knew my daughter would live it. Shes 4 years old, and this was her first visit to a dentist office. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. The Dr. Was kind and gentle and although my daughter was crying alot they were all patient. I love how they give the kids a gift and well, the parent gets a first time gift as well, a good way to make kids want to come back. I will definitely be back and I would recommend this place for children and teens.

Met Jennifer at one of my kids soccer events. She was amazing and explained a lot about what they offer. We explained that we need a Dr. that is good and patient with kids. We’ve been coming here for almost two years and the kids always have a pleasant experience. The staff is super nice and super helpful. Our kids never cry! And that is a win win for everyone! lol. And they have really cool raffles for the kids as well. I would recommend this dentist to anyone looking for an excellent kids dentist. I wonder if they take adults?? Hahha. I see this office every day when I take my daughter to school I’ve always wanted to bring my children here. Well, I finally did and I’m glad. Their staff was very pleasant and warm welcoming they made my girls feel comfortable. The doctor well informed me and explain to me everything. The office has a large space with toys/games for the kids, which is great. I would recommend this place for anyone that has children. Thank you. Little kids dentistry!! 🤗

We just had the BEST experience at Little Kids Dentistry SF! It was my daughter’s very first visit, and she absolutely loved it. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. They have an amazing playground that helped ease her nerves and made the whole experience fun.
One of the things I really appreciated was that there was no wait time—we were seen exactly at our appointment time, which is a huge help when you have a toddler!
The dentist was fantastic—kind, patient, and really took the time to listen to my concerns. I felt heard and respected, which means so much as a parent. The entire staff was friendly, helpful, and great with kids.
I’m so glad we found this place—highly recommend to any parents looking for a positive dental experience for their little ones!

It was my son’s first time at the dentist, he just turned 3. He was a little nervous, but they made him feel comfortable and he did great for his first time. He also loved the nice play area, there’s many toys to play with. Staff was very nice thank you for the first time gift bag we will be coming back for his follow ups and recommend any other kids we know in the Whittier area who are looking for a dentist 🙂

I am so glad I found this place for my boys 4 and 9.. my boys were super anxious and Dr Shushan and staff were amazing. My kids felt so relaxed and were able to get a baby crown the same day.. the place had lots of toys and was very welcoming.. and TVs in each room to keeps the kids entertained.. they were amazing and even gave us a gift bag and gift cards for being first time customers.. will definitely be coming back and recommending to all my friends!! Thank you for making this experience not so traumatizing!!

This is my 1st time bringing my granddaughters and the place is totally geared towards children. Love all the types of games, and a toddlers slide and house. Even a small bouncy house. They even have electric cars. All the ladies are soo congenial, and pleasant. You are greeted immediately when entering the facility. Love this place!

Experience was super amazing 👏 🤩 😍 🙌. This place is so good I love how they have a playing area ❤️ for the kids to enjoy while we wait. And everyone in the office was super nice very warm welcoming 🙏 😊. The doctor is the best great in giving good information when you need it. Excellent in communication and straightforward. The environment is always clean even the bathroom. The waiting time was very fast . I highly recommend this place.

I've had some trouble with dental offices before. It's been so hard finding a safe reliable dental office. So when I was referred here it truly was a blessing. They truly care about your child and go above and beyond to take care of their teeth. But not only that to make them feel comfortable and heard. They talk to them and encourage them. They are also open late for the parents that can't come early. As well as providing transportation they want to take care of your kids teeth. I found a dental office I can trust with my babies and for that I'm forever grateful. Thank you to all the amazing staff and the dentist you guys are truly a blessing!!!!!!

The staff here is very nice and friendly. The lady that took X-rays and cleaned my daughter’s teeth was very gentle. The doctor was so sweet and made it a gentle experience for my 3 year old. I recommend this place . 🙂 The waiting room is so cute with all the toys my toddler has so much fun .

I recently visited this pediatric dental clinic, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The administrators, assistants, and doctors are all fantastic. The whole office is very organized, welcoming, and child-friendly.

This is by far the best pediatric dentist we have been too. And we have been to quite a few. The dentists here are absolutely amazing. My son has zero hesitation in going to the dentist now because of how well he is treated here. They are so kind and gentle and take their time explaining every step to you so you understand everything. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other places that charge a fortune for the exact same thing. Highly recommended this place! You will not be disappointed!

We contacted this clinic, so we needed a dental check-up before school. We didn't have an appointment, but we were accepted anyway. The girls at the reception are lovely, kind and helpful. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is clear that people who love their work and clients work here. Thank you very much for the examination and treatment of the child's teeth. A wonderful first dental treatment experience.

My son came in for teeth cleaning, & cavity fills. As New patients, my son Didn’t cry at any point even during the procedure. Dr. Did an amazing job & all staff were very nice and helpful. For sure will be returning for my kids Dental needs.

This dentist office is fantastic! The staff is not only friendly but also incredibly patient and understanding with kids .They made our visit a positive experience. The doctor was amazing. She was able to answer my concerns.. Thank goodness their still places like this ..

Had a great experience here, everyone is very professional. The receptionist Leslie and Samantha are very nice and helpful. It was my daughter’s first time at the dentist and she loved it . Staff if very gentle with there teeth. Would recommend this place.

Where to start? The front desk staff was nice and welcoming. They speak English and Spanish!!! Fatima offered us water and was very nice with every single person that walked in. I took my 5 year old for a deep cleaning and a cavity fill. I love the small toy play area they have for the kids. They have tvs in the rooms to help kids feel more at ease. Eli was really sweet and made my son feel included in the process. He was thorough and I really appreciated that cuz not many adults interact with little ones. The doctor was very precise with his work and could do with a bit more of a friendly tone hahaha. Overall I think it’s a great place and they’re definitely there to help you.

From walking in to walking out was such a pleasant experience. The girls at the front desk were so Kind and thoughtful. I took my kids today and they were not only attentive to me but to my kids explaining to them in such a sweet way what they were doing. They felt so comfortable and safe. Thank you 🙏

I can't say enough good things about The Little Dentistry! They do an amazing job making dental visits fun and stress-free for kids. The Doctor here] is truly the best; their gentle approach and friendly demeanor put my little ones at ease. It's such a relief to find a place that prioritizes children's comfort while providing excellent care. Highly recommend!

I love this place for my kids , they have a lot of patience and are very kind . Always very fast and don’t have to be waiting for hours , what I love the most is there professionalism and their patience to the kiddos and the place itself so well clean and with a lot of toys for the kids !!!

Our child is one year old, and this was our first experience with pediatric dentistry. We were very pleased with everything. The waiting area features a children's play zone and drinking water, and the whole place is clean and tidy. We speak Russian, and they provided an interpreter for us—a staff member from another department who was incredibly kind and polite, translating everything from start to finish. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. What surprised us most, however, was that as new patients, we received a gift for both the parents and the baby—something we’ve never encountered anywhere else. All in all, our visit to this clinic was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Professional staff, very clean and friendly environment. Kids playground makes the dental visit fun. At the end kids get a dental goody bag and pick their gift toy. Overall 5 star experience.

Little Kids Dentistry Hoover has completely changed how my child views dentist visits. From the moment we walk in, we are greeted and everyone is sweet and comforting to kids. The way staff speaks to children sets the environment and experience for the visit which is why my child feels safe and understood at this office.

We had an excellent experience at Little Kids Dentistry LA on Hoover Street. When we called, they scheduled us right away, and upon arrival, we were seen very quickly. Everything was extremely clean and sterile, which we really appreciated. The staff was wonderful, and both the nurse and the dentist were very kind and thorough, explaining everything in detail. I am very satisfied and will definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Great team! My daughter has been here multiple times and today she went back for a follow up appointment to receive crowns and a sealing. Unfortunately daughter threw a big fit on our visit today to this location 🙁 she’s not a big fan of the dentist after a while & no matter how nice the staff are, she tends to get scared and overly emotional. I was so apologetic because I was appalled at my daughter’s behavior, but her the team of nurses were AMAZING! completely calm, patient and very caring towards my daughter regardless of her drastic reactions during the appointment. I’m very grateful to have the team of nurses that she had today because my daughter‘s chaotic reaction to her appointment DEFINITELY needed a strong & genuine team lol! THANK YOU TO THE NURSES THAT HELPED MY DAUGHTER TODAY, WONDERFUL TEAM HERE AT THIS LOCATION 🩷

Such a great first experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff made my child feel so comfortable and welcomed. The office is bright, clean, and super kid friendly, they have fun activities to keep little ones entertained. The dentist shared some good tips to keep my daughter cavity free, and the dental assistant was incredibly kind, they both made my little one feel so comfortable the whole time. Definitely recommend!

10/10!! Every single person in this dentist was extremely kind. As soon as I stepped in I was welcomed with smiles, the assistants in the back were very attentive, the doctor was very friendly and patient explaining the treatment of my daughter. They have a playground and extremely fast service. They made my kids excited for their next appointment 😍

I can’t say enough great things about our experience at the dentist! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Jannet and Flor, who were incredibly kind, patient, and professional. It was our daughter’s very first dental appointment, and naturally, we were a bit nervous. But the entire staff, including the amazing doctors, made us feel so comfortable and supported every step of the way.
Jannet and Flor went out of their way to explain everything clearly and made sure our daughter felt safe and at ease. The doctors were gentle, attentive, and so wonderful with children—truly a dream team. The atmosphere was friendly, clean, and organized, and we left feeling grateful and reassured that our daughter is in the best hands.
Thank you all for such a fantastic experience—we’re so glad we chose this office for our family!

Beautiful office, huge play area, super nice staff and doctors, and overall a very pleasant experience. Everyone is extremely welcoming, courteous and cares about what they do. My two kids were treated with lots of attention and compassion. Thank you Little Kids Dentistry for being so awesome!!!
