Back-to-School Event — Hoover

Los Angeles, CA (Hoover) — Little Kids Dentistry invites families near USC, Vermont Square, and South Los Angeles to our annual Back-to-School Event on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at our Hoover office, 4203 S Hoover St.

As summer winds down and backpacks come out of the closet, we want every child to walk into the new school year with a bright smile, a full backpack, and a little extra confidence. Led by founder and pediatric dentist Dr. Natalya Shagramanova, our Hoover doctors, managers, and team are throwing a free community celebration for the kids and families we are proud to serve.

Look for Dino, our smiling T-Rex mascot, greeting families outside the office. The sidewalk and lobby will turn into a cheerful back-to-school playground — the same spirit our team brings to community parades and holiday events, now pointed toward a healthy start to the school year.

What families can expect
• Meet Dino and take family photos
• Backpacks and school supplies for kids in attendance (while supplies last)
• Free toothbrushes, toothpaste, and dental goody bags
• Smile-smart tips for lunchboxes, sports, and after-school snacks
• Face painting, balloons, music, and kid-friendly activities
• Optional quick smile checks and help booking a back-to-school dental visit
• Light snacks and refreshments

A healthy mouth helps children eat, speak, sleep, and show up for class ready to learn. The back-to-school checkup is one of the most useful “school supplies” a family can pack. Our pediatric team — dentists (GP/PEDO), back-office assistants, and front-desk team — will be on site to answer questions, welcome new patients, and make the first (or next) visit feel easy.
