Children’s Christmas Lane Parade

As the holiday season wrapped up and we welcomed the new year on January 5, 2026, the memories of South Gate’s most beloved community event remain bright and joyful. The Children’s Christmas Lane Parade on Sunday, December 14, 2025, once again brought thousands of families together along historic Tweedy Boulevard, delivering over a mile of festive floats, marching bands, dance groups, and the magical arrival of Santa Claus. Organized by the South Gate Chamber of Commerce and the City of South Gate, this nearly 80-year-old tradition transformed the streets into a celebration of community, children, and holiday cheer, followed by the lively Holiday Festival at South Gate Park.
