Who says the dentist has to be scary? This Halloween, Little Kids Dentistry flipped the script, turning our clinics into the ultimate destinations for “Spooktacular” fun! If you missed out on the frightful fun, here is a recap of the events that took place across our locations.
Costumes, Capes, and Cavity Fighters
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the costumes. Our staff at the South Gate location traded their scrubs for superhero capes and fairy wings, welcoming our little patients into a clinic transformed with cobwebs, pumpkins, and friendly ghosts.
But the real stars were the kids! We saw everything from tiny dinosaurs to mini-dentists walking through our doors. To celebrate their creativity, we hosted an all-day Costume Contest, where every child in costume received a special “spooky” welcome toy—proof that you don’t need sugar to have a sweet time!
The Great Candy Buy-Back
We know that Halloween means candy, but at Little Kids Dentistry, we care about those sugar bugs! To help parents manage the “sugar rush,” our Los Angeles (Downtown) and Santa Fe Springs offices hosted a Candy Buy-Back event.
Kids were encouraged to bring in their excess Halloween candy in exchange for something much cooler:
- Toys and Goodie Bags: Kids swapped sticky sweets for fun toys and school supplies.
- Gift Cards: As part of our commitment to giving back, families received our signature $10 gift cards to local stores, keeping the rewards going long after the candy was gone.
Why We Do It
“At Little Kids Dentistry, we want to show children that taking care of their teeth can be just as fun as trick-or-treating,” said one of our lead dentists. By combining dental education with holiday excitement, we’re building a generation of kids who actually look forward to their dental visits.
