For over 80 years, the Children’s Christmas Lane Parade has been the heartbeat of holiday spirit in South Gate, California. What began in the early 1940s as a modest community celebration has grown into one of Southern California’s longest-running and most beloved holiday events — a true testament to the pride, resilience, and family-focused values of this vibrant city.
Little Kids Dentistry – A Proud South Gate Neighbor Giving Back Every Year
Located right in the heart of the community at 3175 Firestone Blvd, South Gate, CA 90280, Little Kids Dentistry, founded and led by Dr. Natalya Shagramanova, has made supporting this historic parade an annual tradition of its own.
Every December, Dr. Shagramanova, her dedicated team, and their beloved mascot Dino join the parade route with smiles bigger than ever. The clinic’s entry is always a kid-favorite: a brightly decorated float or vehicle featuring Dino waving to the crowd, staff in festive holiday scrubs, and team members walking alongside handing out:
- Free toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Dental goody bags
- Sugar-free treats
- Educational flyers about keeping smiles healthy through the candy-filled holiday season
Beyond the parade itself, Little Kids Dentistry regularly sets up a fun booth at the Holiday Festival in South Gate Park, offering:
- Free dental screenings
- Oral-health demonstrations
- Face painting
- Balloon animals
- Photo opportunities with Dino
Dr. Shagramanova, a USC-trained pediatric dentist who chose South Gate because of its strong family atmosphere, says:
“The Christmas Lane Parade is more than an event — it’s the moment when our entire city comes together to celebrate our children. At Little Kids Dentistry, we’re honored to play a small part in keeping those young smiles bright and healthy all year round, but especially during the holidays when candy canes and cookies are everywhere!”
The clinic’s ongoing commitment goes deeper than one day — they partner with South Gate schools for dental education programs, sponsor local youth sports teams, host free community events like Easter egg hunts, and provide care to families in need, reinforcing that they are truly invested in the future of South Gate’s kids.
Join Us on December 14, 2025!
This year, look for the Little Kids Dentistry crew along Tweedy Blvd and at South Gate Park as we continue an eight-decade tradition of joy, community, and holiday cheer.
Bring the family, wave to Dino, grab a toothbrush, and let’s make more South Gate memories together!
From our family to yours — Happy Holidays and keep smiling!
