As the holiday season wrapped up and we welcomed the new year on January 5, 2026, the memories of South Gate’s most beloved community event remain bright and joyful. The Children’s Christmas Lane Parade on Sunday, December 14, 2025, once again brought thousands of families together along historic Tweedy Boulevard, delivering over a mile of festive floats, marching bands, dance groups, and the magical arrival of Santa Claus. Organized by the South Gate Chamber of Commerce and the City of South Gate, this nearly 80-year-old tradition transformed the streets into a celebration of community, children, and holiday cheer, followed by the lively Holiday Festival at South Gate Park. Little Kids Dentistry was thrilled to play a starring role in this year’s festivities! Led by founder and pediatric dentist Dr. Natalya Shagramanova, our South Gate team (located at 3175 Firestone Blvd) showed up in full holiday spirit to spread smiles, healthy dental tips, and plenty of fun.
A Roaring Float Full of Holiday Magic
Our highlight was the eye-catching parade float featuring the one and only Dino the smiling T-Rex mascot! Decked out with candy canes, tinsel, snowflakes, and festive greenery, the float carried our team in matching green-and-white shirts, alongside Santa himself and an inflatable green dinosaur. Dr. Natalya waved enthusiastically from the front in her signature blue scrubs, while team members tossed out goodies to excited kids lining the route.
Here are some highlights from the parade day:
Here’s a glimpse of the joyful crowd enjoying the parade along the sidewalk, with families bundled up in chairs, taking photos, and soaking in the holiday atmosphere.
(While this shows a similar festive parade vibe, imagine it filled with South Gate’s unique community energy!)
Our float rolled proudly, bringing cheers and waves everywhere it went.
Fun at the Holiday Festival Booth
After the parade, our team set up a vibrant booth at South Gate Park’s Holiday Festival. Kids flocked to our tent to meet Dino, grab free toothbrushes, sugar-free treats, goody bags, and educational flyers on keeping smiles healthy through the holiday sweets season. We offered quick smile checks, face painting, balloon animals, and plenty of photo opportunities with our friendly dinosaur mascot.
The booth buzzed with excitement as families lined up for the fun!

Why We Love Giving Back to South Gate
For Dr. Shagramanova and the entire Little Kids Dentistry family, participating in the Children’s Christmas Lane Parade is a heartfelt tradition. South Gate is our home, and we’re committed to supporting its families year-round — from free dental education in schools to sponsoring local events and providing gentle, fun dental care.
“Seeing the smiles on kids’ faces as they waved at Dino and grabbed their toothbrushes is the best part of the holidays,” said Dr. Natalya. “This parade brings our community together, and we’re honored to help keep those little smiles bright and healthy!”
Thank you to everyone who cheered, waved, and stopped by our float and booth on December 14, 2025. Your energy makes this tradition special year after year.
